About BYERS COLLABORATIVE

Byers Collaborative is owned and operated by Sanford (Sandy) Byers, a registered Architect and Landscape Architect who has been practicing his craft in the Lowcountry for the better part of three decades.  Sandy's passion for his work and the desire to use his creative talents for the love of design, drives him on a daily basis.  After being a Principle and Owner of multiple firms in Charleston over the years, he created a new concept of collaborating with some of his favorite local Architects, Landscape Architects, Engineers, Contractors, and Builders with the idea that a project is a collaborative effort among many to achieve a singular goal. 

Sandy loves spending time in his beautiful home on Folly Beach, painting, gardening, and tinkering with projects when he's not busy creating exquisite homes and landscapes for his Clients.  If you can't find him on Folly, he is likely spending time in the mountains enjoying nature with friends.

Sandy studied Architecture at the Georgia Institute of Technology and graduated from the University of Georgia with a Bachelor's Degree in Landscape Architecture.  Additionally, he did graduate work in Business Administration at the University of South Carolina.  His work over the years has been published in various regional and national publications.
